Regular supplier for Envida
Envida Maastricht is a care organization that offers services in the field of housing, care and welfare to the elderly and chronically ill in Maastricht and the Heuvelland. Envida has 20 care centers and also offers community care in people's homes.
Incatro has been a supplier of acoustic solutions for Envida for 10 years.
In these years, for example, we have improved the acoustics for several office floors in the Elisabethhuis, for the vide at the reception hall of the Elisabethhuis, the call center and other offices of Envida on Abtstraat in Maastricht, the canteen in the basement of Envida and the common rooms of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th floor of the newly built care center Larisa complex in Maastricht.
Many sounds together
A total of 90 residents live in Larisa, who receive intensive care because of their physical or mental disability, such as dementia.
In the closed sections 1 and 2 there is a very large meandering area with many seating areas where residents can find their favorite spot.
Various activities take place simultaneously and directly next to each other in the spaces. One resident is watching TV, another group is having a nice chat, the next is reading a book. Lots of sounds mixed up that, if not properly regulated, can be disturbing and not good for people who can't handle the wrong stimuli well anyway
Combination of acoustic solutions
Matching the space with various places where a walkway winds through, a number of white round hanging ARTceilings, from our range of acoustic ceiling panels, were suspended throughout the space.
In addition, a number of ARTpanels have been hung on the wall as a kind of acoustic painting with various beautiful prints.
Finally, we have made 3 mobile ARTscreens per department that can be used as a visual partition on the one hand and, on the other hand, can be placed where extra absorption is needed.
In total, 55 m2 per floor of extra absorption has been added for the 1st and 2nd floor to make the space pleasant for residents and employees. 27 m2 absorption has been added for the 3rd and 4th floor.
