ARAG Versicherungen is an internationally operating legal assistance insurer and one of the largest in the world. ARAG's head office is located in Düsseldorf in the ARAG Tower.
Commissioned by Planen und Einrichten, Incatro has adjusted the acoustics for 1 of the office gardens to a pleasant office acoustics.

Special building
With its 125 meters height, the ARAG Tower in Düsseldorf is a special building in the area. The building has 32 floors and the gross floor area is the size of approximately 6 football fields. The office building is finished with a lot of glass and hard materials. This gives sound the chance to reflect and creates a lot of reverberation and echo.
Not ideal for a pleasant working environment.
Problems in the office garden
A lot of noise is also produced in an open-plan office where many people sit together. This makes it difficult for employees to understand each other, but also their customers, for example on the telephone or during a meeting on site.
Planen und Einrichten , a project designer from Düsseldorf, heard about the problems and called in Incatro to solve them.
Circle of consultation
Incatro has made a consultation circle especially for ARAG. This acoustic solution consists of a set of 4 ARTscreens, from our range of acoustic screens, which, connected in pairs, form a circle with a diameter of 300 cm and a height of 190 cm. This way, employees can isolate themselves for a short, small meeting and other employees will no longer be bothered by these meetings.
These acoustic room dividers are movable and particularly suitable for large open spaces. They absorb disturbing sounds on both sides. Speech intelligibility and speech privacy within the shielded room will improve significantly. These movable walls can be made entirely according to your wishes and can be provided with your company colours, logo or photos.
Custom acoustic desk screen
In addition, for this project we made diamond-shaped acoustic elements to which our standard ARTdeskscreens were linked.
In combination with electrically adjustable desktops, this gives a unique setup.
